First aid training
What do you think of when you hear the words "First Aid Course?"
Yeah, me too.
Thats why I have designed the courses I deliver around one very important thing,
You! All my courses are tailored to the people being trained, whether you're an
outdoor instructor or enthusiast in need of lots of hands on practice in the
environment you work and play in, or a school teacher with concerns about
paediatric first aid, I aim to make sure you leave the course, equipped, informed,
confident and maybe even smiling.
All the courses are run with a coaching philosophy. What does that mean? Simply that
I'm not satisfied until you are, the course programme is always flexible to allow more
time working on the things that are important to you. A variety of teaching styles
and methods are used to help everyone make the most of the course, and yes, that does include slide shows!
So, all you need to do is decide which course best suits your needs:
REC 1 Day:
The Basics, whether you just need some tips and tricks on patching people up in the outdoors or are concerned about the effects of heat and cold. This one Day course is designed to help anyone who uses the outdoors for work or pleasure, identify, prioritise and treat some common problems.
REC 2 Day:
Everything you need to deliver First Aid in the outdoors, this course aims to prepare you for whatever you might face when you head out into the hills, on the river or the trail. With realistic and relevant scenarios, coupled with a variety of teaching methods and styles, this course is always aimed at meeting whatever your needs are. This course will also validate most NGB awards.
"Cheers mike, definitely the most fun and practical learning course ive been on in recent years!!"

The standard course required by employers in the UK. The HSE now advises employers to use due diligence when selecting a first aid supplier to ensure they meet their needs. Well, why not contact me for a free consultation to assess what exactly it is that you and your employees need to know
and be able to deliver when it comes to First Aid?
A tailor made course will ensure that you meet not only the needs of HSE, but more importantly the practical needs of your organisation.

Sport Specific Courses:
Not an Outdoor enthusiast? Well, I've got that covered too. With my one or two day Sport Specific Courses designed around your sport, in your environment. Whether you need to manage broken bones on a Rugby Pitch or Exposure on a Golf Course, I can deliver a course to suit you and your club or team.
Check out the calendar for open courses or contact me to arrange a private course.
